Job summary
An educational support organization is seeking a part-time tutor in Lytham St Annes to deliver tailored lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, a passion for helping disengaged students, and experience working with SEND pupils. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to work within the community or pupils' homes, providing vital academic support.

Prospero is committed to raising the standard of support for vulnerable young people throughout the UK, and we are seeking a passionate, creative and holistic tutor to provide academic support and guidance in one-on-one or small-group settings.
- Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education.
- Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions to improve engagement and attainment for vulnerable, disengaged or at-risk students.
- Provide academic support and guidance in line with individual student needs, in a one-on-one or small-group setting.
- Location: Within the community or pupils\' home

- Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour
- Hours: Working hours can differ, depending on the family\'s schedule
- QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate with online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
