Overview

Prospero teaching is currently looking for a tutor experienced in providing tuition to KS1/KS2 students, using a flexible, creative and nurturing approach. The tutor will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at risk students in the early years of their educational journey. The successful tutor will be patient, empathetic and able to create and deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide tailored Numeracy and Literacy tuition to KS1/KS2 students in a 1 to 1 setting. Create and deliver learning plans that re-engage students with education and bring structure to their daily routine. Deliver high quality and engaging support that aligns with each learner’s needs.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
  • Creative, patient and willing to think outside the box
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
Eligibility
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
