This role is a 30‑40 min drive from Glasgow City Centre. You will be required to travel to Renfrewshire on occasion, when needed.

In your role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and promptly responding to machinery breakdowns. You will diagnose and resolve faults on both electrical and mechanical systems while developing and executing effective service schedules to optimise equipment efficiency. Furthermore, you will support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery, all while ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 18th Edition certification.
• Strong hands‑on experience in electrical fault finding, repair, and maintenance.
• Confidence in working with PLC systems, control panels, motors, and automation equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues in fast‑paced environments such as food production or manufacturing.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Team‑focused approach and can‑do attitude.
