The University of St Andrews is seeking an experienced and motivated Accommodation Manager to lead the allocation and administration of over 4,300 student residential places across 13 sites, plus managed properties in St Andrews. We are seeking someone who can combine operational excellence with outstanding customer care in a dynamic, people‑focused environment.

This is a key role within Student Accommodation Services (SAS), part of our Residential and Business Services team, ensuring a smooth and efficient accommodation process that supports student satisfaction and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the allocation of accommodation for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end process from enquiry to allocation, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.
  • Supervise and support a small team, including workload distribution and staff development.
  • Liaise with students, parents, and colleagues across the University to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Maintain and develop systems (including Kinetics Management Software) and produce reports for senior management.
