Job summary
A prominent construction firm in Newcastle is looking for a reliable Traffic Marshall to oversee site logistics on a new housing development. The ideal candidate will control vehicle movements, ensure pedestrian safety, and enforce health and safety protocols. Essential qualifications include a valid Traffic Marshall certification and a CSCS Card, alongside previous experience on construction sites. This ongoing contract requires strong communication and punctuality, making it a prime opportunity for skilled professionals in the Newcastle area.
Qualifications
- Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification is essential.
- Mandatory CSCS Card required.
- Prior experience on busy residential construction sites is a must.
Responsibilities
- Control entry and exit of construction vehicles and deliveries.
- Provide guidance to drivers using hand signals and radio communication.
- Ensure segregation between vehicle routes and pedestrian walkways.
