Job summary
A logistics company in Basildon is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to manage import/export operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in land freight and demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills. - Prepare and check documentation, invoices, and customs entries.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and overseas offices.

Were looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our busy Imports/Exports team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in road freight or general operations whos ready to take on more responsibility.
- Oversee day-to-day import/export operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Prepare and check documentation, invoices, and customs entries
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and overseas offices
- Support with quotations, collections, and delivery coordination
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure SOP compliance
- Minimum 1 years experience in land freight or a similar logistics role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and operational systems
- Ability to prioritise and work independently
MondayFriday, 8:30am5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch), occasional Saturdays
