A leading housing association is seeking a roofer to perform maintenance on domestic properties in the Maryport area. The role involves planned and reactive tasks including felt laying and tile replacement. Candidates must have NVQ level 2 in roofing, previous social housing maintenance experience, and a full UK driving licence. Exciting opportunity for a roofer to join a reputable leading housing association!
I am looking for a roofer to work with an established social housing provider in the Maryport area. This is an ongoing temporary contract with the potential of a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on domestic properties across the Maryport area. Work will include laying felt, replacing tiles and all aspects of flat/pitched roof repairs.
- £17.10 PAYE
- 3 months minimum of work – potentially temporary to permanent
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- NVQ level 2 in roofing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a basic DBS.
