In House Legal Counsel - International organisation - Tech/Telco

Our client is seeking a lawyer or contracts specialist responsible for managing customer, vendor, and business partner contracts. The position reports to a Senior stakeholder and General Counsel.

You should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients globally in a borderless role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer or experienced commercial contract specialist aiming to advance their career in the software, Telco, and IT industries.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional meetings in various local and international locations.

• Significant experience in drafting, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts.
• Qualified Lawyer (Common Law Jurisdiction) with 3+ years PQE.

• Extensive experience advising and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Experience with international contracts or contracts governed by foreign laws.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially for high-value contracts.
• Experience working with software or IT companies (Essential)
• Experience with software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS contracts (Essential)
• Ability to produce and present reports to diverse audiences.
• Experience advising on global data protection issues (EU GDPR, UK GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act).
• Willingness to travel as needed to clients and offices in the UK or abroad.
