MCS Group is working exclusively with a fast-scaling tech company in their search for a Senior Software Engineer. With significant investment announced, our client is properly in scale up mode and plan to double their headcount by the end of this year. This Senior Software Engineering opportunity will offer a senior technologist huge amounts of autonomy and creative freedom from an engineering perspective, along with the chance to learn new technologies and contribute to a scaling SaaS product.

The Head of Engineering and CTO have created this role as a key part of their growth plans, and this is the perfect opportunity for a passionate software developer who is interested in investigating new and emerging technologies, tinkering, experimenting and trying new things.

The Role

• The Senior Software Engineer will investigate new and emerging technologies - think new tooling, AI and even emerging programming languages.
• You'll write and maintain high-quality, scalable code.
• You'll support CI/CD, deployment processes, and production stability.
• You'll break down work, assign tasks, and track progress.
• You'll be passionate about removing blockers and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

The Software Engineers in the team work with the following today: PHP (Symfony), Angular, Typescript, AWS - brilliant if you have experience in working with these, but no issues if not. Our client's engineering team is made up of some brilliant software engineers already - and an ability to problem solve and work things out is the concurrent theme across the engineering department today.

Salary

Up to £75,000 with package which includes share options and private medical.
