Job summary
A leading technology firm in Greater London is looking for an expert to handle Infrastructure operations and security solutions. Responsibilities include resolving complex issues, developing documentation, and collaborating with the DevOps team. Candidates must possess a higher education degree in relevant fields and have in-depth technical knowledge of network products. Strong time management and an eagerness to learn are essential. This role requires good English command, and both seasoned professionals and junior candidates will be considered.
Qualifications
- Higher education in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines is a must.
- In-depth technical knowledge on infrastructure and network products.
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience of cloud network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Act as the escalation point for resolving complex issues on Infrastructure operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation on network infrastructure and system security designs.
- Provide support during non-office hours whenever needed.
- Act as the escalation point for resolving complex issues on Infrastructure operations & security configuration;
- Develop and maintain documentation on network infrastructure and system security designs;
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and identify improvements on existing infrastructure & security solutions;
- Responsible for the overall design and implementation of various security solutions to fulfill the business and security requirements;
- Bridge the gap between development and operations by embracing “Infrastructure as Code” (IaC) work closely with the DevOps team;
- Provide support during non-office hour whenever needed.
- Higher education in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines is a must;
- In-depth technical knowledge on infrastructure and network products, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco, Aruba;
- Solid concept and hands‑on experience on network, system security solutions such as CASB, NAC, CDN, WAF, Secure Web Gateway, Secure Email Gateway;
- Sound knowledge and hands‑on experience of cloud network infrastructure;
- Experience in design and implementation of robust and resilient global network over public cloud and/or private cloud platform is a strong advantage;
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS);
- CCNP or higher certification (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued);
- Strong time management, willing to learn and able to work independently
- Good command of both written and spoken English;
- Candidates with less experience will also be considered for junior position.
