Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in the UK seeks a sales representative to visit clients across Northern England. Responsibilities include recommending adhesives, providing technical training, and maintaining customer relationships. Candidates should have sales experience, a valid driving license, and reside in the North (between Chester and York). This role offers an opportunity to support client needs and contribute to sales growth in the industrial adhesives sector.
Qualifications
- Sales experience with either a manufacturer or distributor.
- Valid driving license.
- Must reside in the North (between Chester/York).
Responsibilities
- Visit customers across the North UK to recommend and introduce adhesives.
- Provide technical training to distributors and assist in troubleshooting.
- Maintain CRM database with visit reports and customer feedback.
- Provide pricing and quotations for customers.
Skills
Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineering adhesives, supplying high-quality industrial adhesives to customers worldwide, assisting customers with their specific bonding and sealing requirements.
- Visit customers across the North UK to recommend and introduce adhesives into their production lines, providing technical training to distributors, and supporting with complaint investigation and troubleshooting.
- Support with manning exhibitions when required.
- Track sales leads, samples, and projects, ensure regular feedback from customers/distributors.
- Keep company CRM database updated with visit reports, projects, opportunities etc.
- Negotiate and provide pricing and quotations for customers.
- Provide account sales support.
- Liaise with customer services and credit control to help service accounts.
- Maintain and develop relationships with integrators who manufacture equipment such as dispensers, UV lamps, surface preparation equipment, as well as distributors.
- Sales experience with either a manufacturer or distributor
- Driving license
- Live in the North (between Chester/York)
