Job summary
A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking Primary Teaching Assistants to support students aged 4-11 in Stone, England. This role is perfect for graduates or individuals with childcare experience. Teaching Personnel are recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Stone and Stafford.
This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, or individuals with childcare or classroom experience looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting children aged 4–11.
- Support teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Experience working with children (paid or voluntary)
- Patient, proactive and flexible approach
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Immediate start available
- Flexible day-to-day and long-term roles
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
- Opportunities to progress into teacher training or permanent school roles
