We are recruiting in partnership with a beautiful school in Highgate, North London for a general teaching assistant. This role would begin immediately until the end of the academic year, with the potential to carry on into the new academic year.

You will be joining a year 2 class, supporting the class teacher as the children go through a vital time preparing for their SATs. Your main responsibilities will be to support the children with their work therefore you must be confident supporting with Maths and English at this level. You will also help to maintain class behaviour and classroom standards.

As part of this role you will also do lunch cover with a child in year 4. The child can present challenging behaviour, therefore previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
