A respected civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Bath team. The role involves the design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a range of projects, including masterplanning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, taking responsibility for your own design packages and supporting high quality project delivery.
- Produce infrastructure designs for masterplanning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage.
- Prepare technical drawings, design calculations, specifications and reports.
- Manage design tasks from concept through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering inputs.
- Support project planning, resourcing and delivery tracking.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Assist with bid preparation and support business development activities.
- Experience in civil infrastructure design, including utilities, highways, earthworks, SuDS drainage and knowledge of masterplanning.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and relevant technical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Working toward professional registration is an advantage.
