The Simulation and Modelling Lead position offers an exciting prospect to embark on a challenging and fulfilling leadership journey. You'll be at the helm of a dynamic and dedicated team, driving the development of innovative simulations that underpin our defence projects!

Up to £74,000 depending on experience

4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Security Clearance checks (SC), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Your key mission will be to orchestrate the dedicated skills and expertise within your team, empowering them to deliver outstanding simulations while ensuring the timely delivery of projects.

This role comes with a diverse set of challenges, spanning individual project needs, departmental objectives, and even extending into the international arena. You'll be accountable for balancing the demands of customers and stakeholders, ensuring the seamless integration of simulations into our active programmes. • A proven leader who can inspire their team to deliver work and develop themselves
• A solid understanding of modelling and simulation techniques, and importance of applying these within the engineering lifecycle, we make use of Simulink so an appreciation of this toolset is beneficial
• Confident to work in an environment with changing priorities/ demands and an ability to formulate responses
• Proficient in stakeholder management and wider ability to communicate at both technical and strategic levels
• A mind‑set that is able to identify areas of improvement within project and department activities that can improve outputs or remove inefficiencies
• Effective interpersonal skills
