Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Supply Logistics Agent in Belfast on an initial 12-month contract, inside IR35 at £29 per hour. The successful candidate will manage transactional elements of parts supply and ensure timely delivery to internal and external customers. Requirements include a minimum of an HNC or similar qualification and 2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, alongside proficiency in MRP Planning Systems. The role supports operations and capacity planning effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain or 3 years for lesser-qualified candidates.
  • Knowledge of MRP Planning Systems is essential.
  • Basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate reporting of supply chain data to the Operations team.
  • Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profiles.
  • Maintain operational systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Parameter management to optimise assets.
  • Support a Natural Team.
  • Analyze forward load and capacity plans for success.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Parts to Shopfloor and External Customers.

MERITUS are recruiting for a Supply Logistics Agent to support our client in Belfast on an initial 12 month deal with very likely extensions thereafter.

SUPPLY LOGISTICS AGENT - INSIDE IR35 - £29 PER HOUR - BELFAST - 12 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

To be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply including internal and external customers to ensure that master schedule is achieved, maintained, and utilised assets optimised.

To provide governance and visibility to the Operations Team and work in tandem with the SCM Execution team regarding Schedule, Capacity planning and Inventory Management including Kitting and System Data Accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • The accurate & timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team
  • Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profiles
  • Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy
  • Parameter management to ensure optimum utilised assets
  • Work in and support a Natural Team
  • Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success, including Line of Balance updates
  • Timely Delivery of Parts to Shopfloor and External Customers
Candidate Requirements
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of an HNC or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPIM, CIPS) and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain. Lesser-qualified candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain will also be considered.
  • Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is essential.
  • Must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.
