A leading recruitment firm in Greater London is seeking a candidate to monitor and schedule trading systems. This role requires over 2 years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on Linux and Unix environments. Candidates should have a good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, basic SQL, and experience with Python scripting. The job includes coordinating with vendors and resolving trading system issues to ensure smooth operations. Competitive salary offered in line with industry standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT experience needed.
- Experience working in a Linux environment is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Unix systems required.
Responsabilités
- Schedule and monitor real time trading systems.
- Handle triage for the trading system.
- Provide updates to the options desk team.
- Coordinate resolution calls with Vendors and Traders.
Connaissances
- Schedule and monitor real time trading systems
- Devops Methodologies
- Monitor open and close of markets as it relates to the system
- Reduce the number of trading hiccups
- Monitor and escal real time system alerts
- Handle any triage for the trade system
- Diagnose and resolve systems issues
- Provide updates to the options desk team
- Coordinator resolution calls with Vendors and Traders
- Escalate production issues
- Follow and solve for regulatory testing for trading environment
- Deliver and maintain high quality information
- Python scripting automation
- 2+ years of IT experience needed
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Good knowledge of Unix
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking applications
- Basic understanding of network routing and troubleshooting
- Basic experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic Bash, Python or other scripting languages
