A recruitment agency is seeking a Youth Justice Officer based in Walsall. This contract role involves conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and preparing court reports. Candidates should preferably have Social Work qualifications or experience in youth justice, probation, or relevant fields. The role requires office attendance on Mondays and Tuesdays and offers a pay rate of £33.30 per hour.

Formation
Youth Justice Officer, Walsall
Social Work qualifications are preferred but not mandatory. We also accept candidates with experience as Probation Officers, Youth Workers, or other relevant degrees, provided they have youth justice experience.

- Prepare Pre-Sentence Reports and Referral Order Reports
- Engage in court work and attend joint decision-making panels
- Work on Duty Attendance and Referral Order panels
Base is Walsall Civic Centre; activities with children are across the Borough. Court sessions are in Wolverhampton. The team is expected to be in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
£33.30 per hour
