Nockolds Solicitors are an award winning and progressive leading Law Firm with offices in Bishop’s Stortford and London. Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a paralegal / legal secretary to join our Legal 500 Family team based in Bishop’s Stortford.

You will be working as part of a busy team providing paralegal and secretarial support to the Fee-earners and Partners and the appropriate level of discretion is expected for such a role. Candidates must have a positive work ethic, be prepared to be flexible and enjoy dealing with the Firm’s clients over the telephone.

The ability to produce documentation to an accurate and high standard to include agreements, orders, letters and bundles of documents for court use is essential. You must be computer literate with excellent knowledge of Word and Excel to be able to produce and amend complex documents as well as dealing with letters and emails. The successful candidate will assist Fee-earners and Partners with case work and undertake research, document drafting and client interviews as per instructions. You will be expected to undertake paralegal and secretarial tasks under the supervision of a fee earner and any other clerical duties which from time to time may be allocated.
