Job summary
A leading energy trading company based in London is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and optimize ETRM systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, proposing and implementing software solutions, and ensuring adherence to coding best practices. Ideal candidates have at least 8 years of software engineering experience, strong skills in C# and SQL, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical trading applications within a global firm.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in software engineering with focus on software development.
- Proficiency in C# and .Net Core development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
Responsibilities
- Propose and document software designs for solutions or new functionalities.
- Implement software designs while following the development and delivery cycle.
- Design and implement robust database solutions using SQL and relational database principles.
