A gaming competition platform is seeking a part-time Social Media and Community Manager to grow their audience and promote participation in contests. The successful candidate will manage social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and Discord while creating engaging content. Experience in gaming and video editing is preferred. This is a remote role with flexible hours, aiming to generate traction for competitions in December.

The aim is to start with one game, Counter Strike, and later add other games as the user base grows. The development is complete, and social media pages are active. We plan our first competition requiring 160 participants (32 teams). Prior to that, we will hold exhibition games to promote the main tournament.
We need a social media manager and community manager experienced in building social pages from scratch. Passion for gaming or experience in gaming is advantageous. The focus is on the UK market, but the platform is global.
The social pages are already created and have been active for about a month. We are exploring marketing avenues; all ideas are welcome. The budget is flexible, with growth and target achievement as benchmarks. If progress is unsatisfactory, either party can terminate the arrangement amicably.
The goal is to generate traction for the first competition scheduled for December. Please review our site and social pages if interested.
Your main role is to grow our audience and encourage participation in contests. The community manager role involves engaging gamers, inviting them to contests, and promoting the brand. Managing Facebook, Steam, and Discord channels is essential. Skills in video editing are a plus. The role is online, part-time, and paid.
Utilize all social tools, e.g., reels and stories on Instagram, stories on Facebook. Managing Discord requires experience. Content creation from competition videos for YouTube and Twitch is expected, e.g., top ten kills videos.
