A leading automotive recruitment firm is seeking a Service Manager for a main dealer site in Taunton. This is a superb opportunity to lead a busy, well-established department within a prestige brand environment. The role focuses on managing all aspects of the Service department, driving productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Workshop and oversee Technicians/Mechanics to maximise productivity.
- Lead Service Advisors to deliver excellent customer service and achieve upselling targets to budget.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure service targets are met.
- Work closely with senior management to meet key objectives and implement department improvements.
- Create a department culture focused on customer service and staff development; take ownership of the Service department.
- Proven Aftersales/Service Management background; high calibre candidates required.
- Main Dealership experience essential; at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Relevant systems experience (e.g., Kerridge, Pinnacle, 1 Link) is advantageous.
- Background in prestige or volume sectors considered, with the right qualities to lead the department.
