Job summary
A leading engineering recruitment agency is seeking a Project Manager to oversee hydraulic product design and support customers effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and project management, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include maintaining technical documents, managing project changes, and assisting in business development for hydraulic products.
Qualifications
- Education: HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering, knowledge of hydraulics.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and hydraulic product design.
- Familiarity with project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
- Design hydraulic products using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Build customer and supplier relationships.

- Review project enquiries and make sure the proposed products meet company capabilities.
- UseSolidWorksandAutoCADto design hydraulic products, ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Keep technical documents, drawings, and specifications organised and up-to-date.

- Provide technical expertise to the team and customers.
- Manage project changes and monitor performance using appropriate tools.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Assist in business development by promoting and selling hydraulic products.
- Education: HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of hydraulics.
- Software: Skilled inSolidWorks,AutoCAD, andMS Office.
- Experience: Familiar with manufacturing processes, hydraulic product design, and project management.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and communicate well with customers.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance and provide a DBS check.
