About the Role

Mitie are seeking an experienced and highly professional Site Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations at a high-profile client site within the financial sector. This is a client-integrated role, requiring daily interaction with key stakeholders, ensuring the safety, security, and continuity of operations across the site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a best‑in‑class security service, maintaining compliance, and fostering a strong security culture aligned with the client's expectations and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop the on‑site security team to deliver a proactive and effective security service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for all security matters.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, site audits, and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate incident response and crisis management procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and security records.
  • Deliver continuous improvement across all security functions in line with evolving site and business needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in managing client relationships at a senior level.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • SIA licence (Front Line or Non‑Front Line) is essential.
  • Relevant security or risk management qualifications are desirable.
