Structural Engineer (Hull & Outfit)

Our client, a leading defence and security company, is seeking a Principal Engineer - Structural Engineering (Hull & Outfit) to join their team in Barrow. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, offering a competitive rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake structural design activities related to Hull & Outfit elements
• Conduct analysis and assessment of structural components
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements
• Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases
• Contribute to the development of design processes and standards

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in relevant software tools and analysis techniques
• Understanding of Hull & Outfit design principles
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Additional Information:

• Location: Barrow
• Security Level: SC
