Construction Engineer - Major Projects & Capital Delivery - Infrastructure

We are seeking a Construction Engineer to join one of the largest infrastructure & civil-engineering companies in the UK.

Our client has a portfolio of major projects valued at in excess of £75m and you would be joining a highly experienced team. The role would involve a mixture of Civil, Utility & M&E works and the successful engineer would be managing some of the largest tier-1 contractors in the UK.

Key priorities of the role
  • Managing Health & Safety performance
  • Overseeing all construction activities on your projects from conception to completion, whilst monitoring compliance with our asset standards, safety, environmental and quality standards and with wider regulations
  • Managing work permits
  • Regular site inspections – design and delivery review support, risk and issue identification, and collaborative problem‑solving with stakeholders.

  • Competitive salary on offer
  • 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays).
  • You would be contracted to 36 hours a week (Monday-Friday)
  • Many of the engineers typically work between 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to progress into a Project Manager and the company will provide all the support, training and accreditations needed
  • Contributory pension – Defined Contribution – Maximum of 12% – 2× employee contribution.
