A mechanical engineering company in the United Kingdom is seeking mobile Fabric maintenance engineers to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial properties across Surrey. Candidates must have trade qualifications and a willingness to occasionally work outside the West Surrey region. Fabric maintenance engineers - Working across West Surrey
My client are a mechanical engineering company with over 50 years of operation, providing mechanical engineering solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. They require 2 mobile Fabric maintenance engineers to work across the Surrey region, carrying out works on commercial properties.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs for commercial and civic buildings and some sheltered housing.
- Painting and decorating (primary skill).
- Carpentry (internal and external).
- Plaster repairs.
- Roofing repairs.
- Flat roof repairs (basic lead work only).
- Concreting.
- Brickwork repairs.
- External door and window replacements.
- Emergency glazing.
- Minor plumbing repairs.
- Fencing (panels and posts).
- Trade qualifications required (NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 / 3).
- IPAF and/or PASMA desirable.
- Engineers must be okay with working outside of West Surrey, in Sussex and London on rare occasions.
- Salary: £32k to £42k, dependant on experience and qualifications.
- Travel time paid after 30 minutes EW.
- 40 hours per week — Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 (30 minute lunch).
- Company van provided, fuel card, tablet, phone and uniform provided.
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
- Private use of van allowed.
- Company pension scheme in place.
