Science Secondary Teacher
Location: Wigan (WN3)

Pay Rate: £160–£210 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Age Group: KS3/KS4
Contract: Full-Time
- Deliver engaging, dynamic, and well-structured lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for KS3 and KS4.
- Provide whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 support, helping students grasp key concepts and improve their academic performance.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching to support individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment with a collaborative staff team.
This welcoming secondary school was inspected by Ofsted on November 2024 and received strong 'Good' ratings across all inspected areas. The school has been praised by Ofsted for creating “a calm and orderly environment where pupils feel safe and are proud of their school”.
- Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or have recently completed a PGCE in Science.
- Experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) within the UK curriculum.
