Job summary
A recruitment agency specializing in safety roles is seeking a Health and Safety Business Partner for Stoke-on-Trent. This role involves driving the implementation of a Safety Management System and requires qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety. The successful candidate will have experience in high-risk sectors and strong communication skills. A full UK driving licence is necessary. This position offers hybrid working and strong leadership support.
Qualifications
- Evidence of CPD in health and safety practices.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
Responsibilities
- Support management teams with all aspects of Health & Safety.
- Drive forward the Safety Management System.
- Advise on managing risks including fire, legionella and asbestos.

Health & Safety Business Partner Required Stafford (with regular travel across Staffordshire & Shropshire + hybrid working)
£47,662.50 per annum + Essential Car User Allowance
37 hours per week | Fixed term - 12 months
We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to play a key role in supporting our management teams across the Group. You'll help us drive the implementation of our Safety Management System and champion the ongoing development of a positive, proactive safety culture.
- Supporting management teams with all aspects of Health & Safety.
- Driving forward our Safety Management System.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and enforcement bodies.
- Advising on and managing risks including fire, legionella and asbestos.
- Leading on the development and implementation of H&S improvements at both strategic and operational level.
- NVQ Level 5 / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice (or equivalent/higher) with evidence of CPD.
- CMIOSH / Graduate IOSH status.
- Experience in a high-risk sector such as construction or housing.
- Strong communication and influencing skills - able to engage persuasively at all levels.
- Proven track record of driving improvements in health and safety performance.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire is required).
