A premier golf hotel in St Andrews seeks an engaging Events Sales Executive to manage events from start to finish. You will ensure clients receive exceptional service, handle proposals, and oversee event planning efficiently. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong organizational skills and experience in hospitality or event sales. As an Events Sales Executive you will play a key role in bringing that vision to life. Youll manage events from start to finish from the first enquiry to the final farewell ensuring every client enjoys an exceptional seamless experience. Youll handle proposals contracts function sheets and show rounds with precision and personality always going the extra mile to deliver memorable occasions that drive repeat business.
Working closely with our Sales and Operations teams youll ensure each event reflects the warmth storytelling and service excellence that define Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts.

Manage and respond to all event enquiries promptly and professionally.
Conduct engaging show rounds telling the Rusacks story with pride and passion.
Prepare accurate proposals contracts and BEO function sheets for all events.
Attend weekly function meetings to ensure clear communication with all departments.
Maintain an organised diary and manage a busy inbox with attention to detail.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Maximise revenue through up‑selling and conversion of enquiries.
Oversee event planning through to operational handover ensuring a seamless client journey.
Post‑event handle final billing follow up with clients for feedback and encourage repeat business.
A confident engaging communicator with a passion for people and events.
Excellent organisation attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive can‑do attitude.
Experience in event coordination sales or hospitality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Experience with Opera and Delphi systems (desirable).
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a high‑performing team.
