A leading technology and consulting firm in Birmingham seeks a Sustainability Solutions Lead to drive sustainability innovation and strategy implementation. The candidate will lead a team to create solutions that align with clients' sustainability goals. This role demands strong consulting experience, deep expertise in sustainability topics, and project management skills. Qualifications

- Excellent knowledge of sustainability measurements and reporting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Create a team of sustainability solutions architects who can conceive use cases.
- Implement the sustainability solutions strategy across HCL Tech.
- Provide guidance and technical support to technical teams.
Experience : 15yrs+

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual from a consultancy background, with excellent leadership and Sustainability solution creation experience. The role is a strategic position in steering our investment into solutions for our clients that will help them achieve their sustainability goals. The person will lead a team of sustainability specialists who will work with different teams in HCL in evolving new solutions and will also interact with clients in creating the right value proposition for them.
- Create a team of sustainability solutions architects who can conceive use cases for clients combining the IT services and sustainability objectives.
- Implement the sustainability solutions strategy across HCL Tech.
- Provide guidance and technical support to technical teams in evolving and delivering client solutions.
- Drive sustainability solutions innovation by curating sustainability design thinking and orientation to impact measurement.
- Develop thought leadership position for HCL in the Sustainable IT services solutions space.
- Strong sustainability consulting and thought leadership experience
- Subject matter expertise in sustainability topics. for example : renewable energy, life cycle analysis, carbon foot printing, natural capital, Net Zero, Green Transition, Supply Chain Decarbonization, emissions markets, Sustainability / ESG reporting, Sustainable finance etc.
- Should have led a team in consulting space
- Experience in embedding sustainability strategy for organizations and products
- Excellent knowledge of sustainability measurements and reporting standards and regulations
- Should be creative to explore new ideas in creating impactful solutions to clients
- Implemented sustainability solutions across multiple industry sectors
- Strong understanding of project management and the delivery of high-quality outputs
