Are you a skilled Programme Planner with experience in MSP looking to make a difference in the water utilities sector? Cappagh Contractors is recruiting for our Lot A Infrastructure & Lot B Smart Metering delivery on the Portsmouth Water AMP8 framework.

This critical role involves planning and tracking multiple workstreams, ensuring safety, logistics, and quality are never compromised. You will work with data to make informed decisions, champion customer service, and drive the successful, timely completion of our smart metering programme.

Cappagh Contractors are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Programme Planner with proven experience in Microsoft Programmes (MSP) to join our Lot A Infrastructure and Lot B Smart Metering delivery for the Portsmouth Water AMP8 framework. You’ll play a key role in programme coordination, ensuring every phase is del ivered with a focus on safety, logistics, customer service, quality, and performance data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and track detailed programme plans, ensuring all smart metering activities are scheduled efficiently and safely.
  • Utilise MSP methodologies to manage risk, dependencies, resource allocation, and critical milestones within the programme.
  • Use data analysis and reporting tools to monitor progress, forecast challenges, and enable decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with quality and customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of programme logistics, safety procedures, and performance against KPIs.
  • Proactively identify and manage programme risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with project management and key stakeholders to provide accurate updates and insights.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.
