Job Description

Brookfield Renewable manages a large platform for renewable energy and solutions, with a diverse portfolio across multiple continents. We are seeking a Manager, Treasury to join our team, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, treasury operations, and supporting the wider treasury functions for our European investments. The team is located across London, Cork, and Madrid.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and reporting treasury, liquidity, and capital management operations
• Preparing cashflow forecasts, managing bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
• Assisting in fund flow preparations and overseeing payment processes
• Handling IFRS accounting and reporting, including month-end close and transaction reviews
• Analyzing P&L and Balance Sheet, and preparing reconciliations
• Reviewing quarterly IFRS reporting for group consolidation
• Reviewing financial and lending data from operating platforms
• Managing the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits
• Preparing quarterly compliance certificates and supporting lender reporting
• Assisting in annual budgeting and variance analysis
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses to support business needs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Degree with 2:1 or higher classification
• 3-4 years post-qualification experience with ACA/ACCA from top 10 accounting firms, preferably with sector-specific experience
• Experience in treasury, debt management, and compliance reporting is advantageous
• Familiarity with finance systems like OneStream is beneficial
• Strong accounting fundamentals and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Proactive, motivated, and able to demonstrate initiative
