Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to join our facilities department. As a Facilities Operative / Gardener, you will be responsible for the Gardening and maintenance of all company grounds at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees
  • Plant seasonal flowers, trees, and other vegetation
  • Mow lawns, trim hedges, and edge pathways
  • Identify and treat plant diseases and pests
  • Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas
  • Work within health and safety guidelines

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscaping
  • Good knowledge of plants, horticulture, and seasonal care
  • Ability to use a variety of gardening tools and machinery
  • Physically fit and capable of outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Experience working in a residential, commercial or public garden.
  • Able to understand landscape designs and bedding schemes.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in garden / grounds maintenance
  • Wide knowledge of gardening.
