LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM (HOME-BASED CONTRACTS)

£180,000 - £210,000 + EXCELLENT PACKAGE (~50% BONUS)

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Embark on a transformative journey with a global consultancy that has been growing rapidly over the last few years. Our client is expanding their high-caliber team and seeking a visionary leader to champion their Life Sciences Procurement Practice.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Partner in the Life Sciences Procurement Practice, you'll be a driver of change, leading global sourcing and procurement efforts that deliver unparalleled value and excellence to Pharmaceutical and Health industry clients. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex initiatives and collaborate with high-profile clients in these dynamic industries.

You will also have full autonomy to grow the Life Sciences vertical: leading sales with private sector pharmaceutical and health clients; recruiting a high-caliber team of consultants and managers; and taking full responsibility for the P&L.

LIFE SCIENCES PROCUREMENT PARTNER, KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Leadership: Drive transformative procurement initiatives, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure optimal value delivery.
2. Client Engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients in the Pharmaceutical and Health industries globally, with potential for international travel.
3. Team Leadership: Lead a team of 20 high-potential individuals across procurement functions related to the Life Sciences sector.
4. Innovation: Identify and implement cutting-edge procurement solutions to enhance processes and services for clients.

LIFE SCIENCES PROCUREMENT PARTNER, REQUIRED BACKGROUND:

1. Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in procurement within the Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing / Health) sectors.
2. Management Consultancy Experience: Proven track record of sales and client management in the management consultancy space, with ability to target and influence senior stakeholders.
3. Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive strategic initiatives, and achieve results.
4. Innovative Mindset: Passion for innovation, implementing industry-leading sourcing practices.
5. Educational Background: Strong academic record; industry certifications such as CIPS/MCIPS are beneficial but not essential.
6. Work Authorization: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
