Hardware Logistics & Operations Procurement Specialist
Exciting opportunity for a Hardware Logistics & Operations Procurement Specialist to work in a fast‑paced Global Procurement Team based in the City for a growing Financial Services organisation.
This role is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end logistics for all procured hardware, from arrival to deployment, across domestic and international locations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with procurement teams to align hardware availability with project and departmental needs.
 
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including asset tracking, lifecycle documentation and audit readiness.
 
- Organise and oversee distribution of hardware to multiple global offices, ensuring minimal downtime.
 
- Partner with IT and technical teams to ensure deployment quality and operational readiness.
 
- Monitor maintenance schedules, repairs and replacements to extend asset life and maintain productivity.
 
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, import/export obligations and regional regulations for cross‑border transactions.
 
- Liaise with finance and legal teams to manage documentation and reporting for taxation, customs duties and other obligations.
 
- Evaluate and improve logistics processes to achieve cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
 
- Produce regular reports on asset utilisation, logistics performance and compliance status for management stakeholders.
 
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in hardware logistics, procurement coordination and inventory management within a technology or enterprise environment.
 
- Strong working knowledge of cross‑border hardware transactions, including tax obligations, customs clearance and import/export regulations.
 
- Experience managing technical hardware such as servers, laptops, networking equipment and peripherals.
 
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and global offices to ensure seamless operations.
 
- Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.
 
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills.
 
- Ability to analyse and improve operational workflows while maintaining compliance requirements.
