Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- The Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner will provide financial analysis, tools, and insights to challenge thinking, enable more informed decisions, and drive the strategy, performance, and sustainability of the organization.
- The role will work closely with dedicated divisional areas within IMServ Europe Limited to act as a trusted advisor, providing real-time support to the Executive and Leadership Teams, adding value to influence decision-making, and serving as a pivotal contact point for financial planning and analysis activities within the Finance department.
- The role will support finance projects, including building business cases with the PMO team, preparing and presenting change investments to business leaders, stakeholders, project sponsors, and customers, monitoring associated costs and benefits, and identifying risks and opportunities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage divisional financial data for the company's consolidated budget and forecasting process.
- Develop forward-looking financial reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to mitigate or maximize outcomes.
- Partner with, challenge, lead, and support core stakeholders, including the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, to deliver value-creating commercial insights and improve business performance aligned with corporate and program objectives.
- Lead the management of divisional financial data for the consolidated company budget and projections, collaborating with the wider Finance Business Partnering Team to report financial performance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with post-qualification experience in FP&A.
- Extensive experience in producing consolidated budgets and forecasts, with knowledge of implementing new systems and driver-led planning.
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Proven experience with double-entry bookkeeping, internal controls, accounting standards, and principles.
- Experience working with KPIs, data analysis, and corporate balanced scorecards to support decision-making.
- Experience in a Private Equity-owned business environment.
