The Senior FP&A Manager

The Senior FP&A Manager is a newly created position designed to drive performance within the international group. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, supporting strategic decision‑making, and driving performance across the organisation.

Client Details

My client are an international, Private Equity backed, insurance business based in Manchester City Centre. They operate a hybrid working model of roughly one day a week in the office.

Description
  • Prepare the monthly group reporting pack.
  • Interpret and communicate to management results and trends across the Group.
  • Assist with enhancing strategic, executive level reporting related to P&L, cash and balance sheet that aids the identification and communication of performance issues.
  • Prepare quarterly Board reporting, working closely with senior finance leadership.
  • Identify areas to improve reporting, including systems and processes, and make recommendations for changes.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis at speed and under pressure, responding quickly to business needs and senior leadership requests.
  • Be the key driver of the end to end group budget and forecast processes.
  • Produce analysis of current performance against budget and forecast future expectations.
  • Assist in the production of information packs on budgets and forecasts for distribution to the board.
Profile
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience in Transaction Services (Big 4 or similar), with strong exposure to financial due diligence.
  • Familiarity with planning and consolidation tools (Anaplan, Tagetik).
  • Previous FP&A experience in a group or multi-platform environment.
