Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking an HGV Technician to service and maintain HGVs and fleet vehicles in Caddington. The role requires a Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and a Full UK Driving Licence. You will diagnose issues, prepare vehicles for MOT, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Competitive hourly wage of £35 - £36. This position offers a Monday to Friday day shift schedule.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance is essential.
- Must possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
- Candidates must have their own tools.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain HGVs, LGVs, and fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and maintain service records.

- Fleet Work
- Service and maintain HGVs, LGVs, and specialist fleet vehicles in line with DVSA requirements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Carry out pre-inspection checks and ready vehicles for MOT testing.
- Maintain accurate service documentation while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Level 3 qualified HGV Maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own tools.
