- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Carry out MOT preparation.
- Perform diagnostics to identify issues using schematics and electrical experience.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and equipment repair.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for inventory management.
- Undertake heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods for HGVs.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills
- NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
- Monday - Friday
- Choice of working times: 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm
- Overtime available
