The Role - MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician:

This role combines Class 4 MOT testing with hands‑on vehicle technician work when MOT demand is quieter.

• Carrying out Class 4 MOT Tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Completing vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Working on brakes, suspension, tyres, wheel alignment, exhausts, batteries and steering systems.
• Performing diagnostics and fault finding on petrol, diesel & hybrid vehicles.
• Resolving both routine and complex mechanical faults efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate job cards, MOT records and service documentation.
• Ensuring all work meets safety, quality and customer satisfaction standards.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Class 4 MOT Licence (essential).
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in an independent garage or fast‑fit environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• A flexible and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy workshop team.
• Full UK manual driving licence (subject to checks).
