Job summary
A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Chester on a full-time, 6-month temporary basis. This role includes overseeing payroll processes, managing data related to tax and bonuses, and resolving payroll queries. Ideal candidates will have experience in payroll processing and knowledge of UK payroll legislation. Qualifications
- Previous experience in processing end-to-end payroll in a shared services environment.
- Desirable knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
- Great understanding of payroll systems is highly advantageous.

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team in Chester on a full time, 6-month temporary basis (35 hours per week - hybrid working).
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for the UK region. This is a great opportunity to build your experience within an international business.
- Oversee payroll processes for the UK region including timesheet management, setting up new employees on the system, pay processing and reports in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage payroll data relating to any tax changes, bonuses and statutory payments
- Resolve payroll queries that may rise whilst maintaining excellent customer service
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure payroll is run efficiently
- Previous experience in processing end-to-end payroll particularly within a shared services environment
- Knowledge of UK payroll as well as their legislation is desirable
- Great understanding of payroll systems is highly advantageous
- Experience with Workday and SAP
- Highly organised and detailed oriented individual with excellent communication skills
