About the role

Change Recruitment are delighted to be working with a renowned accountancy firm based in Somerset who are looking for a Payroll Manager (hybrid working) to look after circa 150 monthly payrolls for their clients.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the running of circa 150 client payrolls, ranging from small businesses (1-3 directors/employees) to around 50 employees.

You will be using BrightPay as the payroll system as well as HMRC Toolkit at times and MS Excel.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical payroll knowledge as you will be the point of contact for all payroll queries both internally and with external clients.

Benefits and Working Conditions

A competitive salary and performance review, 35 hour working week (9am-5pm), hybrid working (very flexible on what this looks like), 25 days holiday plus your birthday off rising to a maximum of 30 days with service, Vitality health care package.

Development

As such, for the right individual, this role can offer support in terms of study time and financial support for a recognised payroll qualification and for future development.
