A leading mental health organization is seeking a Band 6 practitioner to join their Complex Emotional Needs Service in Southall. The role involves developing clinical services, managing a caseload of clients, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in community mental health and familiarity with complex emotional needs. The position offers opportunities for fixed term or secondment and requires effective teamwork and compassion in service delivery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a band 6 practitioner in the Complex Emotional Needs Service covering three London Boroughs – Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham. This service will be for those experiencing difficulties with emotional instability and relationships who need to be supported by a specialist Tier 3 service.
This post will be open to people from a range of disciplines within the mental health care professions including social workers, nurses and OT’s. You will be expected to have significant experience of working with adults with mental health needs in the community and it would be desirable if you have experience of working with complex emotional needs and had undertaken SCM, DBT or MBT training.
