A leading engineering firm in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee planning and implementation of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and experience in fire protection systems. Responsibilities include ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Project Engineer.
Our client started began as a family business over 40 years ago designing, manufacturing, installing, and maintaining cutting-edge fire sprinkler systems to safeguard buildings against the threat of fire.
They have become a leader due to their commitment to quality and innovation, they supply systems to a diverse range of sectors including, Data Centres, Residential, Industrial and Logistics, Life Sciences and Pharma, Commercial & Retail, Healthcare & Education, Heritage, Defence, Transport and Financial Centres.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and tracking of specific engineering projects working closely with Project Engineers, Technical Design leads, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
We are looking for an experienced project engineer, ideally you will have an engineering degree or equivalent and must have worked within fire protection, sprinkler, suppresssion or management systems.
You must have experience managing projects form design throught to installation and commissioning and be an adept user of PM software such as MS Project or similar.
