A regional health service provider seeks a part-time MIU Receptionist to deliver outstanding patient service within the Minor Injuries Unit. Responsibilities include managing patient bookings, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Candidates should have relevant administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and be adaptable to varied shifts. This permanent position offers a salary of £24,465 per year pro rata and 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Being responsible for providing an effective service for all visitors presenting in the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Princess of Wales Community Hospital. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and courteous reception service, both in person and over the phone, while always ensuring patient confidentiality.
The successful candidate must be flexible, forward thinking and proactive and require a commitment to ensure we provide a high-quality service to our patients. This is a challenging role which requires excellent communication and empathy skills.
To contribute to the delivery of a high quality MIU across the Trust and Community.
The position is a 16-hour post to cover evenings / weekends and occasional day time cover.
Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.
