Company description
What we do

Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Engagement, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.

What we believe

Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.

A passion for craft

Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Digital Business Partner. You will drive the development and execution of connected digital strategies across Langland, maximising the impact of medical education, clinical trials, advertising campaigns, brand experiences and PR, and improving patient and healthcare professional engagement.

You will play a pivotal role in integrating digital innovation into client solutions, ensuring measurable results and business growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Digital Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated digital strategy that aligns with clients' business objectives and healthcare industry trends.
  • Leverage data, insights, digital marketing tactics and emerging technologies to enhance business performance and impact.

Client Partnerships, New Business and Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel on opportunities and ensuring data and digital impact is a core part of their strategy.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure clients understand the impact of digital activity and share success stories.

Campaign Development & Oversight

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, CS, medical) and subject matter experts (paid media, data, UX etc.) to design, implement, and optimise PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned) campaigns and approaches that drive measurable results.

Performance Analytics & Optimisation

  • Use digital and campaign performance metrics to define measurement frameworks, KPI and HVA.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on the success of initiatives. Translate analytics into actionable recommendations to continuously optimise for maximum ROI.

Collaboration and Team leadership

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues with a range of skills and experience.
  • Mentor and team members in digital best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development.
  • Build business cases for new hires into the team to ensure we meet client needs.

Transformation, Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platforms, and tools within the healthcare space.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and approaches to create innovative digital experiences.
  • Act as a catalyst for change within Langland, inspiring colleagues and clients to do things differently

Compliance & Best Practice

  • Collaborate with client MLR teams to ensure digital activities adhere to healthcare regulations and industry standards (ABPI, GDPR).
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an engagement strategy, digital strategy or a digital leadership role, preferably within health/pharma
