Join Airbus's dynamic Detailed Parts Commodity team in Filton and play a pivotal role in supplying critical machined parts, some over 20 meters long, to Airbus plants worldwide. You'll lead global supplier relationships and procurement strategies for all Airbus programs, tackling complex challenges and optimizing customer value. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Airbus's supply chain and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Impact & Develop: Tackle significant challenges within a dynamic environment, optimizing customer value and contributing directly to cost reduction programs. You'll develop key skills in supplier relationship management, strategy, and leadership within a supportive, experienced team.

• Collaborate Globally: Work with diverse partners from all over the world, acting as a focal point for contracts and coordinating with multi-functional teams across design, program, quality, and supply chain

• Shape Global Aviation: Join Airbus's Filton-based Detailed Parts Commodity team, playing a vital role in supplying critical machined parts, some over 20 meters long, to Airbus plants and Final Assembly Lines worldwide.

• Lead & Innovate: This isn't just a procurement role; you'll lead global supplier relationships, manage complex contracts, and actively contribute to shaping procurement and supply chain strategies for all Airbus programs

ABOUT YOU

• Procurement Process Knowledge: A solid understanding of the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and tendering (e.g., CFTs) to contract award and management.

• Commercial/Contract Acumen: The ability to understand, apply, and negotiate complex commercial terms and conditions within contracts, particularly regarding pricing and supplier agreements.

• Financial Understanding: Knowledge of how procurement activities impact financial performance, including contributions to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and participation in cost reduction programs.

• SAP Skills (Basic): Proficiency in using SAP for updating pricing information and releasing Purchase Orders.

• Data Analysis & Monitoring: The capability to monitor supplier performance (Quality, Support, Logistics, Delivery) against contractual requirements and contribute to improvement plans.
