Roseberry Park Hospital has an exciting opportunity within Adult Mental Health and PICU for Trainee Healthcare Assistants.
Within this role you will be working within Roseberry Park Adult inpatient Services. A facility which has been carefully designed and constructed to meet the very specific needs of the Adults with mental health difficuties. We have 4 Acute wards and 1 PICU covering assessment and treatment in mental health. There are opportunities to work across the different male and female groups (no guarantee of a specific ward if successful).
You will be required to be innovative, flexible and able to engage service users and their carers. Strong team working principles are essential; you will work with a variety of people as well as work in partnership with a range of disciplines and providers both internal and external to the service.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
This is an exciting and challenging role and will afford the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team that is focused on delivering high standards of care through evidenced based practice.
We will support you by offering regular supervision, training opportunities and encourage your development and role within this team on the delivery of Patient Centred Care, support for carers and evidence based practice, working in a whole systems approach with our partner agencies.
Main Duties of the role is supporting the wards in delivering excellent patient care and assisting the Nurse in Charge in completing nursing tasks / jobs and care rounds / observations.
