The role involves scaling the infrastructure handling millions of requests, enhancing deployment experiences, and ensuring system reliability. Key responsibilities include orchestrating Terraform and Docker for application deployments, managing infrastructure, and driving engineering ownership. Ideal candidates should have expertise in AWS, Terraform, Python, and monitoring solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services like EKS, EC2, ECS, RDS, and ElastiCache.
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Proficient in Docker for containerization and orchestration.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrating deployment with Terraform, Docker, and GitHub.
  • Managing systems programmatically and building enabling tooling.
  • Scaling infrastructure to handle up to a billion requests a month.
  • Monitoring application performance and delivering insights.
  • Driving engineering teams to own their infrastructure.
